The System Sensor SS-PHOTO photoelectric detector’s redesigned optical sensing chamber is engineered to sense smoke produced by a wide range of combustion sources in accordance with more stringent code standards. The sensitivity of SS-Series detectors can be programmed using the control panel software to suit the environment. The SS-Series supports all Fire-Lite ES Series and Silent Knight 6000 Series addressable systems with the latest available firmware and simplifies inventory management for systems integrators that install and service both types of systems. Model SS-PHOTO is a plug-in type smoke sensor that combines a photoelectronic sensing chamber with addressable-analog communications. The sensors transmit an analog representation of smoke density over a communication line to a control panel. Rotary dial switches are provided for setting the sensor’s address.
