The Z-TOOL is an integral part of the exclusive Z-MAX™ and Z-Plug termination process. The Z-MAX outlet tool is used with both UTP and shielded Z-MAX modules, with different versions for the straight and Z-MAX 45 orientations. These easy-to-use and ergonomic designed tool is used both to secure the cable retention/grounding clip and to fully engage the termination module into the back of the outlet. A separate tool is offered for the field-terminated Z-Plug.
