Product Overview
ICC CAT6A FTP feed-through in-line coupler has a die-cast metal housing to shield and protect data transmission from harmful Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) commonly present around power cables, heavy machinery and external noises that cause Alien Crosstalk. The coupler has 8-Position 8-Conductor RJ-45 keystone jacks on both ends to connect two CAT6A patch cords without requiring termination. The contacts within each port are made using high-quality phosphor bronze plated with 70-100 micro-inch nickel and then plated with 50 micro-inches of gold. The insertion force of the eight contacts is 900 GMS. The retention strength is 7.7 KGS between the jack and plug. The keystone jack can withstand 750 insertion and removal cycles from an RJ45 CAT6A patch cable. The CAT6A keystone coupler is built with PCB technology to provide maximum performance and superior signal quality. The feed-thru CAT6A coupler is factory tested to exceed ANSI/TIA-568.2-D CAT6A connecting hardware requirements without degradation in performance.
