The Pass & Seymour TR63 Tamper Resistant Receptacle is designed for safety and durability, featuring a thermoplastic dual shutter system to block foreign object insertion. It ensures a reliable ground connection with its auto-ground clip and includes a heavy-duty brass one-piece mounting strap with an integral ground. Power contacts are triple-wipe brass for secure retention, while strap tabs lock the face and back body firmly. Made with impact-resistant nylon, it has two screws anchoring the strap to the body. Installation is simplified with a patented screw-pressure-plate clamp on the ground terminal, using #10 brass screws for a secure connection. It withstands high temperatures and overloads, supporting a maximum continuous temperature of 60°C and a minimum of -40°C.
