The HES 5204-1 Stackable Lip Extension is designed for 5200 Series Electric Strikes, featuring a versatile non-handed design and tamper resistance for enhanced security. Built to last, it offers endurance for 500,000 cycles along with a static strength of 1,500 lbs and dynamic strength of 70 ft-lbs. It supports dual voltage operation at 12 or 24 VDC/VAC and includes an internally mounted solenoid. This extension allows field selection between fail secure and fail safe modes, suitable for DC continuous duty or AC intermittent duty.
