Product Overview

Wireless relay module for use with the WSK-WGI wireless gateway. Includes a special cover with a built-in tamper magnet. Recommended for installation in an SMB500-WH box (ordered separately) rather than a metal backbox for best performance. Requires (4) CR-123A batteries (included). SWIFT wireless detectors are intelligent (addressable) detectors which provide secure, reliable communication to the Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) across a Class A mesh network. Wireless detectors create an opportunity for applications where it is costly (concrete walls/ceilings, buried wires), obtrusive (surface mount conduit), or possibly dangerous (asbestos) to use traditional wired devices. In addition, both wired and wireless devices can be present on the same FACP providing an integrated wiredwireless solution for increased installation potential.

  • No need for separate dedicated repeaters or antennas as each device acts as a repeater; lowering equipment costs and space requirements
  • For enhanced reliability, SWIFT's smart mesh technology establishes redundant and continuous paths of communication. It “self-heals” if a wireless communication path is disrupted
  • SWIFT devices integrate with previously installed FACPs through the SWIFT gateway and the FACP's SLC loop, for a seamless, easy and cost-effective system addition
  • Wireless devices use (4) CR-123A lithium batteries for reliable, long lasting battery life. CR-123A batteries have a UL listed life of 2 years.
  • All devices ship with batteries
  • Swift Tools provides valuable information for device placement associated with conducting site surveys, diagnostics, history, statistics and mesh visualization
  • Swift Tools can be downloaded from the Silent Knight website at no cost. It is also available on the W-USB
