Product Overview
The HX-40 PIRs are mounted between 2.5 and 3 meter high and provide a volumetric outdoor intrusion detection up to 12m. The HX-40 series is ideal to protect the approach of the building and has been designed to differentiate between human and small to medium sized animals reducing a lot the risk of false alarm. The HX-40 is the standard hardwired model. The HX series is a high mount outdoor detector for high-end application where high reliability and performance is a must. The unique pyro-element developed by OPTEX provides multiple pattern detection area with 94 high density detection zones and accurate discrimination function for spot temperature changes of moving objects.These features drastically reduce false and missed alarm caused by severe outdoor environmental changes and provide a wide range of applications. Accurate detection of performance is necessary in such environments, and the HX series from OPTEX meets these requirements.
