The 7240 series Electric Strike with 4-0.87" faceplates are specifically designed for cylindrical locksets with up to 0.62" latchbolt projection. It provides remote electrical control of door equipped with cylindrical (key-in-knob/lever) type locksets with up to 0.62" latchbolt projection. It functions in such a way that the electrical actuation unlocks strike jaw releasing the latchbolt so that the door can be opened without operating the latch itself.
